Speaker 1:

All right, welcome back to the Healthy Celiac podcast, episode 100. Oh my God, I'm so excited. I cannot believe that I have recorded a hundred episodes of this show for you. Now, today's show is a fun one. It's basically a recap of the past 100 episodes, what's happened through this journey on this podcast. And if you listen through to the end, I also have a fabulous competition available that you can enter. Now, this competition is going to be available for the entire month of March, 2023. So if you are listening to this episode at any time in March, you've got until the end of the month to enter. Um, but if it's after that, then the, the competition will be closed. So make sure you listen to the end for the full details on that. And I also wanna share some feedback with you that I've received from various people on the show as well. Now, for those of you that, uh, have heard me talk about this, I'm also releasing YouTube videos very soon. So it's been a<laugh>, it's been a bit of a journey to try and get that happening. It's taken quite a bit longer than we thought, um, but very soon there will be all of the episodes also available on YouTube. So if you wanna see my face as well, I'll be, um, there for you to see and listen to as well on most of those episodes. Some of the very early episodes I didn't film, um, but the more recent ones I film as well. So just to let you know, I thought it would be hilarious as well to take it back to the old school. And I am actually filming today in my wardrobe. So if you've listened to the very early episodes, you would know that I would record the show in my wardrobe. The acoustics in here are fantastic, and it was a good way to lock myself away from the children when they were in bed at night, and I could just sneak away in here, record an episode, and get it up for you. Whereas these days I have a little bit more time on my hands and I tend to record multiple episodes at one time so that I can make best use of my time and, and make sure I pump out the episodes for you. The main reason that I learned to do that was because last year I lost my voice for a couple of weeks as in lost It completely could not talk, and I had one episode available that I'd already pre-recorded that I could use, but there was one week where I didn't have an episode to put up and I was devastated because yeah, I'd gone all this time with releasing a new episode every single week for you, and that particular week I had to miss out. So now I do my best to have episodes ready to go in advance. So we're also gonna talk about what's coming up on the show in the future, what my plans are, and to also ask you for what you want because this show is for you and it wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you as a listener. So for that, I want to thank you and I wanna celebrate with you today that we have got a hundred episodes out there and we are helping Celiac, we are helping the community, we are raising awareness, and we are supporting people on their health journey. So that is my goal and it is huge for me to be at this point. And I want to tell you why it's huge for me. And it's basically because when I first launched my podcast, I had support from an amazing mentor, crystal Prophet, who taught me so much from what she teaches about podcasting. And I remember her saying that in the very early days, you won't get many downloads and it can be disheartening. But what happens is over a period of time you'll start to see that those downloads grow. And to not quit in those early days, I could have very easily quit because it was pretty disheartening. I was putting my heart and soul into recording these episodes for you. And I've got my stats here on my podcast. And the first month of recording this show back in 2021 in March, I had 20 downloads for the entire month. That is so miserable,<laugh>. But 20 people listened. And I was so excited because 20 people had listened to my voice and my message was getting out there and I thought, wow, this is cool. Like, this is new, this is different. I have to keep going. The next month I had 117, and it doesn't sound like a lot, but it was showing me that there was growth and each month it continued to grow and my stats continued to grow and the amount of downloads and the amount of countries. The last time I checked, there was about 90 odd countries of people that have tuned in to this show, which blows my mind because I'd never thought in a million years that countries where English isn't their main language, I just didn't even think that they would listen to my show. And I can see that there's people that listen to every episode in a lot of non-English speaking countries. So that's huge. And if you are one of them, please reach out to me and let me know. Let me know which country you are from and which country you tune in from. Whether English is your second language, I would absolutely love to hear from you. So send me a DM over at the Healthy Celiac, um, on Instagram. And if you've listened to the show and it's helped you, it's inspired you, it's motivated you to make different changes in your health and your life, again, please let me know because I'm not even joking. It is those messages that have kept me going and made it all worth it when sometimes I've felt like quitting and not recording. So when I get those messages in my inbox, I always respond and it's always from the heart, you have made my day. I truly, truly mean that because this is why I do it. This is why I have to share my message and help you is to know that it is helping you. And to get that feedback is phenomenal. It is the best thing.<laugh> since Slice Bread, since gluten free slice bread, it is the best. So if you feel that you'd like to send me a message, please do. I would love it. I would truly, truly love it. So that is, um, the best way to reach me is at the Healthy Celiac on Instagram. So yeah, shoot your dm. So having said that, I want to quickly read to you some of the messages that I've received from people over time. Um, so I've got some screenshots here of some messages that I've received. Let's have a look. So here's one more recently. So this is from a lady named Jess who used to live near me. So hey Jess, thanks so much for reaching out. You seriously did make my day and it was so cool to learn that Jess was a fellow southie, as we call it here in South Australia, people that live south of South Australia where are called Southeast. And it was so cool that she now lives in Canada and she used to live near me. So one of the things that she signed off with was she said, similar to you, my doctor just said, go find a dietician to help you. Not very helpful, not very helpful, especially where I live in Canada, it is a smaller town, so not really any specialist here. Your episodes have helped me more than any doctors here. So thank you. Keep up the awesome work. That's huge. And I get that a lot that my episodes have shared more than any doctor has shared with people. And that was always my goal because that was not what my experience was. I never had the support from a doctor or a gastroenterologist. I had a terrible dietician. So it's amazing to get that response because that is exactly why I started this podcast and why I started my course Ultimate Celiac system and why I blog and why I do all the things on Instagram. So this, this is game changer for me. Um, another lady reached out recently and said that, um, I'll just find her name. So that was Charlotte, so thank you Charlotte. And she wrote that, uh, okay, so she wrote, you really have been my friend. I walked the dog and listened to you. I'm cooking or waiting outside the kids' clubs and I'm listening to you. Thank you for this and what you were doing for newbies navigating this new wave of life. So thank you so much, Charlotte. That was such a cool message to read and, and know that I am making a difference. So thank you so much. And then another one, oh my God, you have taught me so much in just a short time. So glad I found you. We'll write, write you a note soon to share my story. Thank you so very much for all that you are and all that you do. So<laugh>, I get goosebumps and a little bit teary when I read these messages because like I said, they make all the difference. And I, I just, yeah, I just love hearing from you. So if you wanna make my day<laugh>, like I said, just shoot me through a message. Now I just wanna recap on some of my episodes that I've released in the past and how I said that when I first started my podcast back in 2021 in March, I only had 20 episodes down, 20 complete downloads over the entire month, only 20 downloads. There were two episodes that I doubt I uploaded in March back in 2021. And to this day, they are two of the most listened to episodes of my entire show. So it's super cool that something that I shared way back then is being listened to now and making a difference and supporting you. So thank you so much for making the most of the episodes that I uploaded a couple of years ago and still going back and listening to them now on the show. It is always my goal to make your health better. And as you may have noticed, I do have a really strong emphasis on health focused subjects. That is my main goal is to make your health and your lifestyle better and easier. I am not a woe is me person. There are not many episodes where I complain or focus on the negative aspects of celiac disease because I want it to be a positive place and I want it to be inspiring and empowering. So you'll find that if you go back if and listen to these episodes that I've recorded for you, they will help you and they will motivate you. So that's my intention with the Healthy Celiac podcast moving forward. I do plan to have more guests on the show. It is my every intention to make that happen. And now that I have a little bit more time, I have my youngest daughter started kindergarten, I have some free time now. So I have more of that space to be able to create and to be able to have other people on the show rather than just doing it at every opportunity that I can sneak a few minutes of time to be able to record. So if you are someone that can add value to the show and to my listeners, please reach out to me because if you'd like to be a guest on the show and feel like you have a message that you can share, then by all means I'd love to hear from you. So you can email me and my email is info@belindawheelan.com and yeah, we can, we can have a chat and see if that's something that can support my listeners and help them further. Now, without further ado, I would love to share with you the competition that I am running and it is to win a full product suite of all of my programs. So it's valued at well over$600 and you will get access to my signature program, which is Ultimate Celiac System. So you'll get the full complete program access to that program and any updates, which by the way, I have a completely upgraded fully new program coming very, very soon with all new handouts, new videos, and it is just next level. I'm so excited to share that soon. Um, so yeah, you'll have access to that and you'll also get access to my meal plans Made Easy, which is my 52 week meal plan program with over 500 gluten-free recipe. So you'll get access to that and you'll also get access to my Eliminate program, which will help you to figure out if you've got any other intolerances or just what your unique body needs to thrive now that you have celiac disease and help you to nourish your body and get back on track to eating really well. And you'll also get a copy of my Daily Health tracker. So you'll receive that in the post personally from me, I don't mind which country you are in, I will personally send that to you. Now to win this, all you have to do is go to my website, which is belinda willin.com, and I'll put a link to that in the show notes as well. And grab yourself a copy of my 11 Mistakes People Make going gluten free. And basically that signs you up for my weekly newsletter, which you'll get access to a new email each week where I just drop in your inbox really quickly, give you some insights, give you some recipes, uh, let you know about the latest episode of the podcast and what's going on. So it's very inspirational. It's not spammy, it's, it's once a week you'll hear from me. And once you get that email, all you need to do is hit reply and let me know why you wanna win this competition. Why do you want to have access to all of these programs and what it would mean to you. You can write as much or as little as you want. I'll personally be reading every single email. And if you are already on my email list, you can still enter this competition. Just hit reply to my most recent email that you would've received in your inbox and do the exact same thing. Let me know why you wanna win this competition, what it would mean to you. And yeah, write as much or as little as you want. I really don't mind. You can write a poem, you could suck up to me, I don't mind, but I will pick the best one and you will win the competition. So yeah, that's as simple as it is and I look forward to sharing the winner with you very soon. So, like I said, we've got until the end of March, 2023 for that competition to be closed. So if you're listening to this at the end of the month, you can still enter. But yeah, we've got a few weeks, so make sure you get onto that because I would love to pick a winner and share
